Careers at The Wood Gallery
At The Wood Gallery, we design and build custom wood displays for handguns, knives, and specialty retail products. Every piece that leaves our shop blends craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail. We’re always looking for motivated people who take pride in making high-quality work and want to be part of a hands-on manufacturing environment.
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and creating products that last, you’ll fit right in here.
Current Opportunities
Assembler
Assemblers are responsible for putting together finished display components with accuracy and care. This includes hardware installation, fitment checks, and final assembly of wood and interior parts. Attention to detail is critical, as each product must meet strict quality standards before shipping.
General Production
General production team members support a wide range of shop operations including material handling, cutting, sanding, drilling, packaging, and assisting different departments as needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and learning multiple parts of the production process.
Finisher
Finishers bring each product to life with stain, paint, and protective coatings. Responsibilities include surface preparation, color matching, applying finishes (such as natural walnut, maple, black, or merlot tones), and ensuring a smooth, consistent final appearance. A strong eye for detail and craftsmanship is essential.
Graphic Design
Graphic designers create visual elements used in product inlays, branding, packaging, and promotional materials. This includes layout design for laser engraving, patriotic artwork, logos, and marketing content. Experience with vector design and print-ready file preparation is highly valued.
Product Design
Product designers develop new display concepts from idea to production-ready drawings. This includes 3D modeling, prototyping support, material selection, and collaboration with production teams to ensure designs are both functional and manufacturable. Creativity and practical engineering thinking are key.
