Care Instructions for Your Wood Display Case

Your display case is crafted from natural hardwood and finished to highlight the beauty of the wood. With proper care, it will protect and display your firearm or knives for generations.

General Care

  • Place the display case in a stable, climate-controlled environment.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or rapid temperature changes, as these can affect natural wood.

  • Keep the case away from heating vents, fireplaces, and damp areas.

Cleaning the Wood Exterior

  • Dust regularly using a soft, dry microfiber cloth.

  • For occasional cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, silicone sprays, or abrasive cleaners.

  • If desired, a small amount of quality furniture polish or wax may be used occasionally to maintain the finish.

Cleaning the Glass (Glass Top Models)

  • Use a standard ammonia-free glass cleaner or a mild glass cleaning solution.

  • Spray the cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glass, to prevent moisture from entering the wood joints.

  • Wipe with a lint-free or microfiber cloth to avoid streaks.

Interior Care

  • The interior fabric lining is designed to protect your firearm or knives from scratches.

  • If needed, lightly remove dust with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum attachment.

  • Avoid getting the fabric wet or using chemical cleaners on the lining.

Hardware

  • Hinges and latches are installed and adjusted for proper alignment.

  • If needed over time, a very small drop of light machine oil can be applied to hinge pins.

Handling

  • Always lift the case from the base, not the lid.

  • Do not place excessive weight on the lid or glass surface.

With proper care, your display case will preserve and showcase your firearm or knife collection for years to come.
